Just Mums

Just delivered baby via normal delivery

How long does the stitches for normal delivery take to heal? It’s day 6 for me and I have a lot of pain at the stitches area. I can’t sit wo a donut pillow. This is so depressing. #1stimemom

Mine was better around day 6. As painful and scary as it sounds, just wash the wound with Dettol or soap (warm water) daily or everytime after you pee and also try to pat dry as much as possible after washing. That sped up the entire healing process for me.

For me, it was 10 days. I also suffered a lot.
