I really feel you on this, recovering from a c-section while caring for a newborn is already so much, and then having to look at that scar every day can feel discouraging. My scar was still pretty red and raised at 12 weeks too, so you are definitely not alone in this. It took a good year or so before mine really faded and flattened out properly, so try not to worry too much at this stage lah. Some mums I know also used silicone gel strips after their wound was fully healed and that seemed to help speed up the fading. If it looks inflamed or feels painful though, do check with your PD or your own doctor just to be sure everything is healing as it should.
