Post delivery bleeding & period

Hi, how long do you bleed after vaginal delivery? Does your next period come without a break from the post delivery bleeding?

Lochia can last till about 8 weeks.. it does get lighter then heavier for a few times before it eventually stops. For my first child, my period came after 10 months.. when I stopped BF/pumping
