How to know it's time to increase baby milk intake ? My BB is 1.5 month and feed her 3oz per feeding according to packaging recommendations. But recently my baby seems getting hungry earlier than before.
Eh, when they start demanding earlier, usually means they're ready for more lah! Setakat 1.5 months, babies' appetites grow pretty quickly, a few of my mum friends noticed their babies at that age suddenly wanted feeds closer together, so they bumped up to 4oz and baby seemed more settled. The best way to check is if she's finishing her bottle completely and still fussing, or waking up hungry way before the next scheduled feed, that's your sign she needs a bit more. Since she's still quite small, maybe start by increasing slowly like 0.5oz at a time and see if she's satisfied longer, but honestly, this is something good to mention to your pediatrician during the next check-up, they can confirm based on her weight gain and development. Trust your instinct, mama, you know your baby best!
