When do you start solids ?

How do I know when to start feeding baby solids ? How and when to feed?#firsttimemom #pleasehelp

When baby can sit with assistance with their head and neck stable and not drooping forward. Best adviced to start around 5.5-6m if baby’s weight is good unless instructed by PD to start early (some started at 4.5m as per gynae’s request). Can start from rice cereal, mix with bm or formula up to you, then offer baby bit by bit then gradually increase the portion and introduce other solids like purées, porridge etc.
