How do you handle relatives (both sides) asking for financial help?

Oh this is so tough at times. Lalo na sa culture natin as Pinoys. But I agree with Edel, if you have the capacity, then help. You can only help as much because your main focus is still your own family. Just be straight forward but with respect pa din if makikipagusap tayo when telling na wala talaga tayong mapapahiram.
