It actually works out! Put the 2 car seats at the back (behind driver and behind passenger), and 1 adult squeezes in the middle. The other 2 adults sit in front. The trick is getting car seats that aren’t too bulky so the middle adult isn’t completely squished. Slim/compact car seats help a lot. some brands are designed to be narrower for exactly this reason.
