Haha.. Happy Valentine's Day (in advance) to all!! My husband proposed to me by planning a staycation. We were both very busy at work during that period so I didn't suspect a thing, He checked into the hotel earlier to decorate the room. Then he met up with me and pretended to check in (again) and popped the question after we enter the room. Was a very simple affair. :)

He asked for my hand in secret a few days after meeting my father for the first time! After he got the green light, he proposed to me over a nice dinner. I was more impresssed that he asked my dad first cos he knew how important it was for me. My old man can be super scary especially to guys hahaha. That in its own right, warrants a "yes of course I'll marry you"

Mine is a mixture of both. My hubby asked my parents for their blessings first. Then planned a resort bungalow staycation. The crew were busy setting up while he brought me out on a day trip. When we came back, surprise! We had a fantastic rooftop candlelight dinner under the moon. :) Happy Valentine's and thanks for asking. Reliving the memory.
