I would say try to find the edges which you think your child can hit or climb. Then choose to either protect the corners or move it out of the way. I went to buy the necessary from daiso. Not ex but in the end only used the ones for my kitchen drawers and 4 corner Guards. Chanced upon an alternative though. Stock up on pool noodles with a hollow centre and cut them up to wherever you need. Currently Giant got promo. One for $4.90 only.

I didn't do any active full proof of my house and my toddler grew up fine. I guess there are some parents who have a diff sch of thought. they feel our babies be "allowed" to fall down so they will learn.

you can Google the check list. and ikea sells a fairly good set of baby proof appliances. . like the table edge protectors and the wall socket locks... or whatever they're called so baby won't stick their fingers in the wall socket holes

I buy edge cover or sponge protector to put at those sharp edges and baby gate at kitchen area to prevent baby go to the kitchen and always close toilet door ^^
