low blood.

hello, the hospital called me today. i have to come back to retake my blood test due to low blood iron. will it affect my pregnancy or anything i shld be alarm of? and they advice me to have the transamin injection too, need advice ASAP

Don’t worry dear:) Anaemia is common in pregnancy, and if your cause of anaemia is low iron, then just go for the treatment. Once your iron levels go up, you can produce more red blood cells and improve your anaemia. This makes it safer when you deliver because you’ll lose some blood during delivery. Just go for your tests and treatments with a light heart:) and don’t overexert yourself. Take care!
