Bird Nest with “yangshen”

Hihi, my MIL asked TCM and say can cook Bird Nest with “yangshen” (not sure what’s the English name called) and consume during first trimester. Wonder is it correct?

I dont know if it’s okay, but I rmb ther herbal shop lady told me not to choose yang shen chrysanthemum tea but just chrysanthemum tea without herb will do. So I have a mindset not to have yang shen.

First trimester shouldn’t have herbs. I just want to be sure.
