Post delivery rashes

Sounds like it could be PUPPP/PEP (those itchy pregnancy/postpartum rashes that start on the thighs/tummy and spread). They’re harmless but super annoying and itchy! For a lot of mums it clears up within a few weeks to a couple months after delivery as your hormones settle, but it does vary. Since the prescribed cream isn’t helping and it’s spreading, I’d go back to your dr or ask for a referral to a dermatologist. The rash might need a stronger steroid cream or a different diagnosis (could be something else like an allergic reaction or PUPPP that needs different treatment). In the meantime, keep skin cool and moisturised, avoid hot showers, wear loose cotton clothing, and oatmeal baths can help soothe the itch. Hope it clears soon!
