Corelle are usually the more affordable series and I believe their have warranty for it? So do check it out! Major departmental stores carries it

Try Carousell and Gumtree. I was able to buy 2nd hand rarely used expensive tableware there but only at a fraction of the price.

IKEA would be a good option. Reasonable prices and lot of choices.
