How scary is giving birth, really?

Heyyy mommies, I’m about to enter my third trimester and starting to feel nervous about what childbirth will be like… I’m still unsure whether I’ll go for a C-section or natural delivery. But from the stories I’ve heard, giving birth is truly a life-and-death experience. I’m feeling so anxious 😭. Moms who have been through it, can you share your stories?
