Not too sure about ginger but I know a friend who swears on tumeric as a sensitive skin saviour. She either adds turmeric to her daily meals or simply mix it with water and drinks a shot of it. Studies have shown turmeric's positive effects in wound healing, decreasing inflammation and improved circulation of the skin -- all of which are great for eczema sufferers.
