mommy or nanny

Hay mommy, I totally get this, a few of us moms have been through this exact thing, and it's SO valid na masakit, lalo na you're pregnant pa lang with all the hormones. What's happening is normal: your baby got attached to the nanny because she was the consistent presence during your work schedule, but it doesn't mean he loves you less, it just means he's used to her routine, you know? The good news is, now that you're full-time with him, that bond will shift back naturally, it takes time, maybe weeks or months, pero I promise it will. In the meantime, try to focus on being present for the moments YOU'RE doing with him instead of comparing, bath time, meals, cuddles, and give yourself grace na emotional ka because, hello, pregnancy hormones are real. If the crying and sadness feel like too much though, please talk to your OB or a counselor, because maternal anxiety mixed with hormonal changes can be a lot to handle alone. You're a good mom, and your baby needs you, just maybe not in the way you're imagining right now.
