Bleed after sex during six weeks preggy
Hi, has any experience similar? I am 6 weeks pregnant, had intimacy with Hubs, 2-3hr later found a blood stain on my pantyliner. Found a clot when i swipe under there.. Im feeling normal cramps and backache. No different pain too
Hi mum! So a bit of bleeding and even a small clot after sex in early pregnancy can happen, the cervix is more sensitive and vascular right now, so it's not uncommon. That said, I'd still get it checked out with your gynae just to be safe, especially since you found a clot. The general rule I've heard from other mums is: if you're soaking through more than a pad per hour or passing clots larger than a grape, go to A&E straight away, but lighter bleeding is usually less urgent. Since you're feeling normal cramps and no sharp pain, that's a good sign, but do call your clinic tomorrow or pop in, they can do a quick scan to make sure everything's okay and put your mind at ease. Better to check than to worry, right?
