Prenatal training

Has anyone started researching on prenatal training classes like yoga, pilates etc? I have been quoted $900 for 10 sessions of personal training. The exercises will depend on individual ability but it's more on muscles and core engagement. Is the price reasonable or are there any recommendations? #firsttimemom #prenataltraining

I really feel you on this, especially as a first time mum trying to figure out what is worth the investment. $900 for 10 sessions works out to $90 per session, which is actually on the reasonable side for personal training in Singapore, especially if it is prenatal-specialised. You might also want to look into prenatal yoga or pilates group classes as they tend to be more affordable and still give you good core and pelvic floor work, and many mums find the community aspect really comforting during pregnancy. Do check with your gynae or PD first before starting any new exercise programme, just to make sure they are happy with your fitness level and pregnancy progress.
