Hi has anyone got gestational diabetes before? How do you control it.

Switch to low G.I food. If rice u can switch to basmati or ponni rice or even brown rice instead of usual white rice.. There are also low G.I breads avail.. Cut down on sugar intake..sodas..flavored drinks..avoid oily n fried foods too..

U cn start slow by diluting ur flavored drinks like for me i drink kopi or tea kosong.. maybe milo diluted half cup milo other half plain water mix. Dnt need to be strictly plain water..ur body still need sugar
