From what I've heard, the MC really depends on whether you go for open surgery or laparoscopic, open surgery can mean up to six weeks of recovery and restricted movement, while laparoscopic tends to be much quicker, with some people back on their feet within three weeks or so. Either way, do make sure you have someone at home to help you those first few days, and your surgeon will give you the most accurate MC based on your specific case when you go for your pre-op consult!
