Unpaid hospital bills

used to work with credit firm. those hospital that failed to contact nor unable to get you pay , they will get the 3rd party which is debt/credit company to contact you. first they will send u a letter to informed that you have total outstanding from this hospital which you failed to pay. from my experience, debtor's can liaise with the appointed Credit officer and request to settle monthly payment, this is accepted as long as you pay within the period you both agree with agreeable monthly payment, stay contact with the credit officer, get the name and direct no. so easy to liaise with. All these will be recorded in their system incase there's a change of officer. so don't be afraid if u received any form of letter from credit company. Just called them and liaise with them with monthly payment l. this goes the same with bank debt. 😁

did experienced the chasing part with the debt collector letter, but not seizing of household items of similar value. And I had been communicating with the hospital on payment options, ended up I had to tell them off to get the debt collector out of the loop to not complicate matters because I am already working the hospital to pay in installments and I had evidence of such communication. (which we did solved peacefully ,thankfully) For your case, were there any written notification of the seizing of household item? Because it does sound off if they seized your items without notifying?

from what I understood in the past, if the hospital can prove that it tried to contact you in all possible ways but still not able to get you to response or pay, it has the right to apply withthe court for writ to seize assets or properties in your name, amounting to what's unpaid. But I guess your bill should be "worth" the trouble?
