Hi we had head ultrasound of our going to be 4 months baby. The report says anterior fontanelle is small and is 5mm.
Conclusion says: Small anterior fontanelle with relative premature fusion of sagittal and coronal sutures.
So there has to be a small opening around 2cm on the top of the head which usually closes after 18 months of birth until then there is a soft spot there. But my baby is having it very small and is having a flat head problem as well. For which doctor has recommended to see neurologist and mostly we will be asked to go for a surgery to increase the space. I am really tense. May I know if anyone has undergone this kind of situation and how did surgery went? #1stimemom #firstbaby #worryingmom #advicepls #pleasehelp #babybrain
