First Trimester Screening

Question

Just had my FTS yesterday. Did blood test and a ultrasound.During the ultrasound the doc/nurse pressed so hard at a specific area and she just keep going on and on , on that spot till it kinda hurt right now when i slightly touch it. Just hurt like a bruise...Anyone experiencing the same during their FTS?#pregnancy #firstbaby #1stimemom

Hi there! You didn’t by any chance had your scan at KKH ADC, did you? Coz I experienced the same, the sonographer seemed really irritated just because my baby wasn’t cooperative, and she kept pushing/hitting so hard that my tummy was crampy afterwards. I was also worried about my baby at that point of time but thank god, all is well. 🙂 Fast forward I’m at almost 19 weeks now and my next scan will be the anatomy scan and I pray I don’t see that particular sonographer again! Here’s hoping you and baby are ok!
