Private or public?

Do u all go to private gynae for first check up or private. Just tested positive but I don’t know what am I suppose to do next. Anyone is choosing Thomson medical to give birth? Will the charges be high?

Depends on your budget and also the rooms you choose. We went via private route so checkup at private gynae’s clinic (call clinic, schedule appointment). Gave birth at TMC back at Dec 2021, natural birth, single room (room rates increased on Jan 2022). I’ve listed the rough cost for mine below. Total: Hospital: $8K ($4K cash, $4K medisave) Gynae’s birth fees at clinic: $2.7K Gynae’s scan package: $740 OSCAR scan: IIRC $300-$400 Cash paid in total: +- $7.8K~$8K

Yes, gynae’s fees will vary as well. My gynae is Dr Adrian Woodworth.
