Fish oil for baby

I looked into this when my youngest was small, and there are infant-specific fish oil drops available, but the right amount really does depend on the baby's age and weight, so it is not a one-size-fits-all thing. Some parents start after solids are introduced, others earlier, but the timing and dosage varies quite a bit between brands and between children. It might be worth bringing it up at your next PD visit, just to get a proper recommendation based on your baby's specific needs. The PD can also advise whether your baby actually needs it or if it is better to get the nutrients from food first.
