Baby bump cramp when waking up

Gg to 23 weeks and ever since my bump is growing, i realised that i usually get light short term cramps around my baby bump/tummy whenever i wake up and move to lay on my back. I usually sleep on my sides. Which i assume is because of the weight of the stomach. Any mummies experience this too?

Yes normal! These are Braxton hicks. You may feel them anytime in the day. I usually feel these when I wake up or in the evenings. It’s the uterus contracting ‘practicing’ for labour. They are harmless if not persistent. :)
