Hello mommy, ung BM po kpag wla sa ref usually 4hours lang po preferably di po mxadong mainit ung room temp. And then pg ilagay sa ref.. sakin 24hours lang kasi ung ref namin always ino-open ganun.. and then pg freezer nmn ung freezer tlga ha.. FIFO ako e..i indicate mo tlga ung date and time..and then gusto ko 1 to 2months lang and puru milk lang dpat ung sa freezer ko.. di pwede haluan ng mga fish/meat and ayoko rin mommy na umabot xa ng 3 to 4months kasi hbang tumatagal e nawawala po ung nutrients ng milk po kaya as much as possible if pwede every 1 to 2weeks na rreplenish lhat ng milk ko.. yan nga pla milk ko before mommy sa eldest ko kasi working mom ako sa office lang ako ngppump and every week nghaharvest ako ng milk hehe and then ngayon nmn sa 2nd ko direct latching na ako ky baby kask ngresign na po ako..Hehe napahaba po yung kwento ko.. Kung freshly express po or pump, room temperature 4-6hrs. Kapag po inyong inilagay sa ref ang gatas, tatagal ito ng 3-5 araw, pag hindi po naconsumed ilalagay na po sa freezer. Kapag naman po na-thaw na ang galing sa ref, 2hrs dapat maconsume na po ni baby, may sinasabi sila na 24hrs pero ako kasi sinusunod ko yung 2hrs. Kapag naman frozen milk, timatagal ito ng 3-4 na buwan depende sa klase ng freezer, kung yung chest freezer hanggang 6months. Sana makatulong.

I’ve found na importante na ilagay ang milk sa clean, sterilized containers para maiwasan ang contamination. Also, when thawing frozen milk, do it in the refrigerator or under running warm water—never sa microwave. Microwaving can create hot spots and destroy some of the milk’s nutrients. If you have milk na thawed, gamitin within 24 hours and don’t refreeze it.

Gusto ko rin idagdag na kung accidentally mo naiwan ang milk out longer than the recommended time, best to be safe and discard it. Mayroon akong sitwasyon na naiwan ko ang milk for 6 hours and decided to throw it away just to be safe. Importanteng iwasan ang risks para sa kalusugan ng iyong baby.
