Contractions?

Hi all, FTM here. Currently 34 weeks preggy and gusto ko sana maprepare as much as I can sa darating na Labor day haha. So far di ko pa din ma-gets ano ba feeling na contractions? How would I know if it's labor na? I hear so much of False labor (Di ko din alam feeling non) so gusto ko sana malaman ang difference and what I should expect. So far smooth naman pregnancy ko, and want to keep it that way haha. Hope I can get some info here

Aw FTM friend, I totally get the worry, honestly pag dating ng 34 weeks parang nag-start na ang paranoia haha, pero good that you're preparing! True labor contractions usually start from your back tapos umakyat papunta sa front, regular and getting closer together, at hindi nawala kahit gumagalaw ka, while Braxton-Hicks (yung false labor) ay random, hindi painful, at parang practice lang ng katawan mo. A few of us moms swear na the real deal feels like intense period cramps combined with pressure, at mahirap na talaga makipag-usap or breathe during, hindi like discomfort lang. Since you're still weeks away, I'd really suggest bringing these questions sa OB mo sa next check-up kasi she can walk you through it properly and check kung lahat ay okay, plus safer na marinig from the doctor directly so you're 100% confident, you know?
