is maid necessary for twins?

Hi! Just found that I'll be having twins and i intend to engage a confinement nanny for 1st month. My friend said having a maid is necessary to take care of twins but my house is too tiny to have additional person staying with us. Any experience in engaging regular (daily) part time helpers for chores and bottle washing? Is having a full time helper really necessary?

Daily PT helper will be more expensive compared to FT helper. Eg 4 - 6 hours is $ 80 to $100 per day. Depends on weekdays or weekends. May exclude transportation n 1 time of agent fees (eg $100) etc. or There are also PT helpers come Once a week only. Hiring a FT helper from (indo/pinoy/Myanmar) Eg $550-700 per month depends on experience Eg Fresh helper eg $500-$600 ( communication may break down cos they don’t understand eng etc ) Exclude levy $60 n expenses n agent fees (hopefully you can get $1.5k-3k) for two years contract. And also 1-2 free replacements within 3-6 months loan period. Also depends on luck you may get a good helper however I would suggest start searching now n let the agent know what are your main concerns and priorities etc Do note, check all the contract first. Yes it is necessary cos it will help you a lot You will be juggling a lot of things in between. I would suggest get a helper to start work when your nanny is leaving on the day itself. Since your house is tiny. Or you can hire PT helper for a month first during the period while nanny can help to look after then you can go interview FT helpers. You can ask your mom /mil to drop by to help too. You may have to calculate all the expenses since you are having a twins. Hope it helps! :)
