For how many years do you take your child to a pediatrician? When do you make the switch to a GP?

My daughter saw my pediatrician up until she was 6 years old before we switched to our regular family GP. I feel that she's old enough to voice out her pains and concerns plus my GP was also good with kids. I intend to do the same wth my son too.

My eldest one is 6 years old now and I intend to let her see PD for health related issues until she turns 12 years old. I do have friends who use family doctor that they find is comfortable with for kids' health issues too.

At the age of 18, change to appropriate GP doctor. Before the transitioning you have to check the doctors profile & feedback from other patients.
