Aiyoh congrats on your first pregnancy! So exciting! My neighbour delivered at SGH and she said overall the nursing care was quite solid, very experienced staff, though the ward can feel a bit busy since it's a restructured hospital. Someone in my mum WhatsApp group mentioned Dr Deva, said he has very skilful hands and her wound healed really beautifully after delivery, so that's one name worth looking into for SGH. On one hand the restructured hospital route is more wallet-friendly and the doctors there handle all kinds of complicated cases, so good coverage lah; on the other hand a few mummies I know felt the waiting times and the less personalised attention can be a bit tiring especially when you're already heavily pregnant. So it really depends on whether cost savings or more one-on-one gynae time matters more to you at this stage. Hope this helps you weigh it out, all the best for your pregnancy journey!
