Akak tak sure exactly about Hospital Seberang Jaya's current policy, but most government hospitals in Perak do allow husbands to be in the labour room nowadays, a few of my mum friends gave birth there and their husbands were allowed to stay the whole time. Best thing is call the Obstetric ward directly to confirm, sebab policies boleh berbeza depending on their current SOP and whether it's peak hours or not, and they'll give you the exact answer for your due date!
