For first time mummy, normally it will take some time to be in labour. Can be hours or probably days for you to really dilate. Walk. Walk more and alot. Maybe a good walk in the morning at the park. This really helps and is the easiest way. Alternatively, do squats, climb stairs or curb walk. All the best!
