Rapid weight gain and Puffy face first tri

First time pregnancy and wanted to ask if anyone experienced the same? I’m in my first mth and I’ve already gained 3 kg in less than a week. Ive not eaten a lot but it seems like I’m having a lot of water retention and my face / eyes are really puffy / swollen to the point that I’m feeling discomfort and self conscious…. Any advise?
