Just Mums

Feeling paranoid

Any first time mum have this paranoia feeling that baby will not be close to you cos there are other family members caring for baby (eg.MIL).. so you always want baby by ur side and no one else.. Idk if only i feel this way.. or there are mums who feel like this too.. am i overthinking? i feel even more upset when i know my Maternity leave is ending soon.. and baby will be spending more time at MIL place..

Yes its normal to feel that way. But think on the positive side that someone is always there helping you out. Esp when your baby is cranky. Maybe once u start work, let your baby sleep with u and bond with your LO as much as u can. Definately your LO will know who is their parents 😊
