Bidan/ Confinement Nanny

Hi, first time mum and edd is 10th Oct. I got no one to advice or help me out so i am seeking information here. Both parent is no longer around so me and husband is clueless. Is it a need for a bidan and/or confinement nanny? What's the need for them and what are their job scopes? How much do they charge? How do I find them? Can i just go on after giving birth without them? Please help, TIA!

Having a confinement lady is really a personal choice. If you are completely clueless and you think you may need help from some experienced, you may consider. There are freelance confinement nannies, recommended via word or though agencies like PEM.
