First 1000 days
As a first time mom, I made sure that I gave my best for Priya's first 1000 days. 🤰 The first 1000 days of life begins from conception up to 2 years of age. This is also the most significant period of brain development as well as their body and immune system. Which is why I made sure to do the following: 1) Breastfed her exclusively until 6 months and started complementary feeding for her optimal health. Our breastfeesing journey continued beyond 2 years. 🤱🏻 2) I made sure she got het Immunizations/vaccinations on time including booster shots so she would be safe against vaccine preventable diseases. 💉 3) For her nutrition, I introduced her to fruits and vegetables early on once she started complementary feeding so she would eat healthy. 🍏🍇🍊🍓🍌🥕🥔🍅 4) I also took time to read books to her, play with her, walk her outside and be present during our time together. I tried my best not to expose her to gadget use during these formative years. How about you?
