GDM can feel challenging, but don’t stress, you're not alone in this. If you’re following a meal plan, that’s already a great start! You can try incorporating more low-glycemic foods like sweet potatoes and non-starchy veggies. Small, balanced meals throughout the day will help maintain your blood sugar. Also, some gentle exercise like walking or swimming can improve insulin sensitivity. Keep checking with your doctor for guidance, and remember, GDM is something you can manage!

I totally understand how you feel. Having GDM can be a bit overwhelming at first, but it’s definitely manageable. Since may meal plan ka na, try to stick to it, pero you can also add more fiber-rich foods like whole grains, leafy veggies, and nuts to help control blood sugar levels. Also, regular light exercise like walking can help a lot! And don’t worry, with the right management, GDM doesn’t mean you can’t have a healthy pregnancy. Keep in touch with your OB for updates!

Hello, mama! Congratulations on your pregnancy, and kudos for being proactive about managing gestational diabetes (GDM). While GDM usually resolves after delivery, managing it during pregnancy is essential for your and your baby's health. Choose Low-Glycemic Alternatives. Opt for low-GI foods like brown rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes, and whole-grain bread. Swap sugary snacks with nuts, seeds, or a small portion of fruit paired with protein (like apple slices with peanut butter).

I know it can be a lot to handle, but you got this! GDM is common, and while it might feel tough, sticking to your meal plan and checking your blood sugar regularly will help manage it. You can try adding more healthy fats like avocado, or protein-rich snacks to keep you full and avoid spikes in sugar. Light activity, like walking after meals, can also help. Always ask your OB for advice on what works best for you, but just take it one step at a time.
