This is my first IVF and my first pregnancy. I saw my gynae today for the second time and there is a fetal pole, and we were able to see the baby’s heartbeat. However, I suddenly started bleeding quite a bit today while waiting for him for an hr in his clinic. I’ve had some discharge since week 5, but nothing like this.
Dr hasn’t offered much beyond increasing my Duphaston and Progynova, Utrogestan inserts, advising bed rest, and taking a “wait and see” approach to whether the baby survives. Is this really all that can be done? I’m not sure who else to turn to and I’m feeling really worried and upset. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
