Insecurity?

My first born is 20 months old & I’m almost 7 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. I cut down on carrying my first born and it’s quite disastrous. Whenever my first born sees me, she’ll cry out “mummy carry.” And if I don’t, she’ll cry murder. I’ve been trying to tell her that I still love her despite the frequency to carry her. She rejects other family members carrying her whenever I’m around. It’s actually quite heart breaking to see her cry, so I carry. But the old folks don’t encourage it. And if I carry her, she’ll hug me so tight. Any mummies experienced / experiencing the same? How do you deal with it?

I'm in similar situation as you too.. my firstborn is 18 months when I'm pregnant with second one. initially she will also cry for me to carry, but I told her I cannot carry, mummy hug hug ok? then subsequently she's ok already, will ask for hug hug instead.
