Hi mama, so sorry you are going through HG again with your second, it is truly one of the hardest things to deal with especially when you already know what you are in for. Ven is right that you should be able to request Diclectin at a polyclinic. Since you have a previous diagnosis of Hyperemesis Gravidarum and a documented history of being on Diclectin throughout your first pregnancy, you have a strong case to present to the poly doctor. Go in and explain your history clearly, tell them your symptoms have already started and that you cannot wait weeks for your gynae appointment. A few tips for your poly visit: Bring any documentation from your first pregnancy if you have it, such as referral letters, discharge summaries or even old prescription records. This makes it much easier for the doctor to prescribe without hesitation. Be specific about your symptoms. Tell them how many times you are vomiting per day, whether you are struggling to keep food or water down, and how it is affecting your daily functioning. HG is not just regular morning sickness and the poly doctor needs to understand the severity. If the poly doctor is hesitant or unfamiliar with Diclectin, you can ask for a referral to KKH or NUH urgent O&G clinic where they are very experienced with HG management. You should not have to suffer until your first gynae appointment. On buying from someone else please do not go down that route as dosage and storage conditions really matter for medication safety during pregnancy. You are your own best advocate here. Please go in and push for what you need. Hang in there mama. 🤍

Should be able to request at a poly! Better to get it properly prescribed so you get the right dosage
