Finally, as much as i wanted to avoid it, i had to get a cervical cerclage. It was grueling seeing your cervix open at such a quick rate at only 19 weeks! The cerclage took a huge burden off my chest. All turned out well, kudos to the team of doctors at Medical City. I am at 20 weeks, praying for a full term. Losing my first son was painful beyond reason, but now we see it as a blessing in disguise because we know how to save his baby brother. ❤️ Mommies, if you have bleeding or weird contractions/cramps at the beginning of the 2nd trime, you might have cervical insufficiency, consult with your doctors immediately.
