What is high blood pressure reading during first trimester? Does mummy have high blood?

I do have a slightly higher bp even before pregnancy and doctor advised to keep track of my own bp everyday twice to thrice daily. He also advised me to go for the pre-eclampsia test in week 12. Good to keep track and ensure it doesn’t go over 140.
