Confinement Nanny Recommendations
Hello fellow mummies :) I’m a first time mum here and I will have no help once my little one arrives in December. Do you have any confinement nanny recommendations or confinement nanny companies to recommend? Thank you in advance!

Oh congratulations on your upcoming arrival in December, and don't worry, so many of us first-time mums felt exactly the same way, wondering how on earth we'd manage without help! When I had my first, I was so anxious about finding the right confinement nanny, and I ended up interviewing three before settling on one, so I totally understand the stress of it all. From what I've heard through my mum group, two names keep coming up: Auntie Wong, who apparently has around 16 years of experience here in Singapore, cooks really nourishing confinement meals, and is even comfortable accompanying you to the polyclinic or hospital if needed, which is such a relief when you're still recovering. Another name I've heard is 芬姐 (Fen Jie), who people describe as quite low-maintenance and easy to have around, which honestly matters so much when you're exhausted and just need someone calm and capable in your home. Some mums absolutely rave about both of them, though as with any nanny, experiences can vary a little depending on personalities and expectations, so it's always good to have a chat with them beforehand to see if the fit feels right. Wishing you a smooth delivery and a really restful confinement, you've got this, mama!
