A few of us in my mum circle have actually looked into this, and the good news is there are agencies in Singapore that do serve families overseas, including the UAE, so don't give up just yet! My friend relocated to Australia and managed to get a nanny through an agency that specifically handles international assignments, and she said the key is to look for ones that explicitly list overseas placements as a service, because not all of them do even if they're big names locally. Do budget for the higher costs though, one mum mentioned the nanny's fees for an overseas posting can run quite a bit more than the usual Singapore rates, somewhere in the range of S$5,500 to S$8,000 or more, on top of flights and accommodation which you're already covering. Some mums loved the experience and said having that dedicated support was totally worth every cent, though a couple did mention it took quite a few calls before finding an agency or individual nanny willing to travel that far, so just be prepared to be persistent!
