Congrats!!! I’m also first time mum. If u dw to wait so long can go private gynae. But that’s a long story cos u have to weigh ur pros n cons, financials etc. no right or wrong. Just go ahead with what u r comfortable! 1) Folic acid is a must. 2) Use pregnancy safe sunscreen. 3) No retinols/retinoids. 4) If u have bleeding/spotting pls see a private gynae asap 5) Food guide you can check on this app Stretch marks kinda depends on genetics. I’ve quite abit from puberty, my mom has a lot from her pregnancy. So I’m expecting to have it for my pregnancy too. But u can start using stretch mark cream during second tri. Hair fall can consider wowo shampoo.
usually they will arrange for it to be at 7 or 8 weeks from your LMP. the polyclinic dr said most impt take folic acid. if alr taking some multivitamins safe for pregnancy then can continue. otherwise the obstetrician will advise further what else to take when you see them. hair fall and stretch marks hard to control. you can try the products out there that claim to help but effects seem varied. either way you prob wont experience those early in preganancy
First appt will usually schedule on wk6-8 of ur pregnancy. So wait for the notification from health buddy app. While waiting for the visit, keep urself hydrated, sleep well , eat healthy snacks as u will start to get hungry very easily. If no appetite, try small amount, doc recommendation is 6meals. Can start looking in Multivitamins if not done so, take folic acid recommended by the polyclinic. Take good of urself!
I think the appt depends on how many wks you are at. I went polyclinic last Thursday, got the message from KKH on Saturday and my appt is next Friday. So all in all about 2 weeks from my polyclinic visit. I’ll be about 8 weeks when I go for my appt.
