Woken up by painful cramps

Hello everyone! I'm only 11 weeks and 3 days in and a first time mother. :) I was woken up last night for the first time ever by painful cramps that happened twice and then suddenly it was gone. The cramps were so painful that I had to hold myself from making any sound. Has anyone ever experienced this or knows why? I am going to bring this up with my doctor, but that isn't for another few more days. Any insight would be much appreciated! Thank you for reading! #firsttimemom

Due to baby growing and expanding of uterus hence you will feel pain. If this persistent it is best to consult doctor soon. Do not miss out on meal period, it could be pain due to miss meal. It could also be due to active work/chores hence of the pain. Having said that, it can also be due to other reason that your doctor can better advice and thorough check. Meantime you can put ointment and massage your tummy and back.
