Train baby to walk

Hello everyone. I'm a single dad and have a 17 month old dauhgter. She is able to walk a few steps, but sometimes she chooses to crawl. She can stand up very confidently, but I'm wondering how do i train her to walk when we go to public places? She can walk around at the playground (sometimes crawl), but how do i start training her to walk? Usually, whenever i go out, I'll carry or put her in the stroller. When i want to leave my house, she'll crawl very fast instead of walking. Do i need to get a special kind of shoes for her to wear so that she can walk steadily? Sorry, too many questions, haha, but I'm hoping to get some advice or recommendations

I’ve trained my now 18 months since she was born! Started with exercising her leg muscles since young and getting her to hold onto walker or chairs at 4 months. Successfully she started walking on her own at 10 months! Didn’t get her any special shoes, gave her a lot of grounding activities such as standing on grass, sand and different textures. I realised babies need stronger leg muscles before being able to walk so helping her stretch her legs will help a lot! Let her cruise along chairs and furnitures around home and see how far/ how long she can do it. Eventually they’ll gain courage and will be able to walk!
