Sudden Loud sounds

Think its fine cus baby will learn to recognise different types of sounds overtime. But if the sounds causes baby to exibit startle relfex, then perhaps have to be more mindful of making loud sounds. My baby was very sensitive to shocking sounds esp when he was asleep due to the startle reflex. But overtime, it goes away and he seems to be slightly better now.

Actually as long as your LO is not too close to the sound, it should be alright. But fyi, at about 2-3 months old, when baby’s more alert, these sounds may startle and frighten baby more easily. No long term effects that I know of, but baby may be woken up and cry.
