LAM / lactational amenorrhea method

Honestly, marami sa amin ang nag-rely on LAM pero sobrang risky talaga, a few of us thought it was working then boom, pregnant ulit within months of birth! Kasi ang thing is, LAM only works if you're exclusively breastfeeding, walang formula, and your period hasn't come back yet, pero paano mo alam kung kailan exactly bubalik yung period mo, di ba? One of my mum friends swore it was reliable for her, but honestly I know more stories of moms na nag-fail sa LAM kaya I wouldn't bank on it alone, mas safe kung may backup contraception ka, talaga. Better to check with your OB about what's best for your situation, especially if you're planning your family spacing na!
